just got some inspiration after coming back from outside.
… ‘coffee shop’ being the incubator of many revolutions and new thinkings, i guess that might be an interesting topic to share about as a 專題.
i suppose if we are lucky enough, no matter where we live, we would at least have 1 to 2 small quiet cafes of eateries that we like visiting (even tho it’s not easy in hk), for inspiration or just for a lazy afternoon.
would be nice if we can gather a snapshot + a brief para on these places… 8)

Is visual essay (i.e. illustration, drawing, painting, image…etc.) an acceptable form of submission?

You’ve very nice illustration, drawing, painting, image…etc. In fact, they are quite interest visual essay. So my vote is why not?
Who knows, one day I may want to post a video in response to a topic? 🙂 May be I will start with Horace’s 「怕」.

由不同人出題目可以增加創作的多元化和變數,
這點我極之欣賞和認同,
但任何創作都應該以愈少限制為最好的,
言語種類和字數限制的出現不單不會把創作搞活,
相反只會阻礙創作空間,
打個比喻:
“如果你是fonia公主"這篇題目就出得很好了,
你提議可以中法兩文同寫,
又可以只寫其一,
這是一個有個人建議都又不會令人卻步的好題目了!
老實說,
雖然我不曉法文,
但因為可以任選其一,
所以就好樂意寫一篇來湊湊熱鬧了!
相反,如果說一定要雙文齊寫的,
我就算想寫都無能為力了!
又例如,
有些人(如我)不太曉用外文寫作的,
硬是要人家兩樣一齊寫又何必呢?
如果人家隨隨便寫一兩句又有何意思呢?
為何不讓人家有得選擇寫單文或雙文,
限制少了, 不是會讓更多人可以參加呢?
雙文又不會讓創作好一點的,
簡單一點,
門檻低一點不是最利創作嗎?
好了,
話說多了,
無論如何對於你創作"兩週一聚",
我是尊重和欣賞的,
