The New Bank of China Building HK at the mouth of Garden Road Central also Bei’s work (Ieoh Ming PEI (Chinese: 貝聿銘; pinyin: Bèi Yù Míng)), not to mention the glass pyramid at Louvre Paris.

    由於老子快將外遊,還是先開估好了。

    這“路思義教堂”是位於台中的東海大學。多一點點資料我到“寒博”一看:

      Laozi:

I read with interest the information you have supplied re: the「一線天」design of the church by Mr. 貝聿銘.

I am especially impressed by his life story:
      - undergrad degree from MIT in 1940 and master degree from Harvard in 1946
      - recipient of numerous national and international recognitions and awards (榮譽與獎項)
      - 93 years of achievements and still going strong –

      What a legend !!!!

      Thank you for sharing !!!

        Haricot:

I did not dig deep into his life, but he did accomplish many great works on architecture. So bad that I did not have chance to go into the church and have a look. I wonder how it feels when standing in the charming church.

The shape of the structure reminds me of the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, but then the stadium tower is much taller.
