都猜到了啊！就是 Greenwich 的 Queen’s House，這是我在二零零六年十一月拍攝的照片。它原本是 James I 送給皇后 Anne of Denmark 的禮物，不過 Anne 卻早於房子建成前亡故。後來這房子由繼位的 Charles I 送贈予他的妻子 Henrietta Maria of France，所以房子的牌匾是寫著 “Henrica Maria Regina 1635″ 的。
According to Wikipedia, Baroque architecture started in Italy in the 17th century. Here is one building that I visited often: The Galleria Borghese in Rome, Italy (notice the overall design is very similar to that of the Queen’s House!!!)
I also remember seeing many Spanish Baroque style buildings while travelling in South America: Here is a photo of La Catedral, Plaza de Armas that I took in Lima, Peru.
